The MoU sets the stage for deeper collaboration between INTI and BoardRoom, including joint initiatives like membership pathways, training programmes, knowledge exchange, and fostering the accountancy talent pipeline through student exchanges. This partnership underscores the importance of academia-industry collaborations in driving community support and transformation in our increasingly technology-driven world.

Kok Wai highlighted the significance of this alliance, stating, “A partnership with BoardRoom, a leading provider of corporate services in the Asia-Pacific region, represents a significant step towards achieving educational excellence and professional innovation. Together, we can set new standards for how education and industry collaborate to create transformative experiences.”

He elaborated on the collaboration’s practical aspects: “Employer Projects have long been part of INTI’s curriculum. With BoardRoom now onboard, we will continue to offer students opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world business settings. This partnership will bridge the gap between academia and industry needs, developing skills crucial for the digital economy.”

Jennifer Lee also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership’s potential, remarking, “As we formalise our MoU today, we do so with a shared vision of empowering students to excel in their chosen paths. Through this partnership, we commit to creating opportunities for collaboration, internships, mentorship, and research, enabling students to gain invaluable real-world experience and insights that will enrich their academic journey and boost their career prospects.”

She concluded by saying, “Together, we will unlock a world of opportunity, innovation, and achievement for the leaders of tomorrow. We will construct a bridge between the academic realm of the classroom and the practical realm of the BoardRoom.”

This partnership signifies INTI’s strategic approach to integrating education with professional development, promising to enhance students’ learning experiences and future opportunities significantly.
