My economics lecturer really inspired me. She often imparted us with knowledge beyond the prescribed syllabus and it instilled my interest in economics. Her constructive feedback on our work and essays prompted me to strive harder and to brush-up.

I feel blessed and satisfied with my results as it commensurates with the time and effort I have invested. Juggling between my priorities, given the time constraint, was a struggle. I helmed the position as the Secretary of Student Welfare in INTI’s student government, and worked with the team to organise campus events such as Leadership camps, Talent Quest, Prom, etc. We looked after students’ welfare and facilitated the process of voicing out on campus-related issues to the management.

I will be pursuing economics at the University of Warwick, UK. The relevance of economics in our daily lives allows me to keep up with unfolding world events, and helps me understand its implications. Besides that, I plan to venture into the financial-service industry as I believe that economics will equip me with the requisite knowledge, skills and qualifications.

I have my friends and family to thank for inspiring me to be the best version of myself. Their endless support and encouragement is what motivated me. I am a strong believer that time management is key, that it’s important to always have a balance of everything, and prioritise the right thing at the right time, including studies, time with friends and family, extracurricular activities and leisure. My advice would be to have a goal, work hard for it, but to also not forget about having fun in the process.

I was heavily involved in the student council (INTIMA) and I am currently a senior exco member of it. However, it is entirely on a voluntary basis. 365体育官网_365体育备用【手机在线】 is my inspiration. I’ve always been fascinated with how everything works, how complicated systems and logistics come along to maximize efficiency. Hence, I am currently pursuing a Degree in Biomedical 365体育官网_365体育备用【手机在线】 at King’s College in London.

I plan on advancing to my Masters at either Imperial College or Cambridge because I believe Bioengineering is the next industry to undergo a big boom. To be successful, I think time management is incredibly important. I struggled sometimes due to not being able to focus, and found that truly understanding yourself can prevent that from happening. Have a clear goal of what you want to achieve, and plan thoroughly.

A common pattern with every accomplishment is that I always end up acquiring a new set of skills that is not only limited to the syllabus. This means that practical learning gave me a sneak peak to real-life work situations. It gives me the sense that in INTI, not only is my knowledge enriched, but that I am also growing as a person.

The whole learning process triggers a communal bond amongst students and we are constantly encouraged to work together.

The lecturers at INTI are truly amiable, quick to guide and diverse in their teaching styles. Even in a class full of local students, I was assured that I wasn’t any different from the rest. The result was an even more comfortable learning environment.

After completing Foundation in Arts, I am now doing Bachelor of Mass Communication. I realise that everything I learnt in Foundation was a stepping stone. I can easily identify and relate theories, and expand the methods I used in Foundation to complete assignments faster.

INTI offer students a wide range of social activities organized by INTIMA as well as clubs and societies. I was part of the INTIMA Service Cell where I get to meet some of my good friends from local and international countries.

I have learnt to be more responsible and self-dependent. At the same time, I was able to juggle between academic and social activities. In my opinion, life of a university student should not be just about studies but we should not be afraid of taking risks, accept challenges and try out something new every day.

As a member of the project committee, I went through many challenges in organizing this event. I was able to learn skills I never knew I could such as time management, project planning, negotiation, social-networking as well as leadership.

As part of my foundation journey I was also an active committee and member of a few clubs and societies in INTI such as Badminton, Dodgeball, Frisbee and Green Knight Club. My participation in these clubs and societies has groomed me to be a better person; more independent, responsible and accountable.

I would like to thank my lecturers in INTI as they are very passionate in educating us. They often give us good advice and guidance throughout my studies in INTI. I am proud to be an INTIAN!

I managed to achieve a lot during my time at INTI. I participated in a number of swimming competitions such as Malaysia Open, SUKIPT, Selangor Age Group, in international competitions that were held in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. I also took part in the glider competition held at INTI College Nilai and won the longest flight distance. Time management was a daily challenge for me, but I preserved and managed to balance my studies and sports. I was both shocked and proud of how well I did in college, and thanks to the support from my lecturers and peers.

I will pursue my study in Mechanical 365体育官网_365体育备用【手机在线】. I choose this course because I am good with numbers and love to solve problems. I also like hands-on work, so it’s perfect for me. My advice to my fellow students would be to just try your best to understand the lectures in class. Ask questions if you do not understand. Do the tutorials and learn from it. My biggest inspiration, is my parents. They sacrificed so much for me and I just want to repay them with a brighter and happier future.

The relationship I have created with my lecturers and friends has helped me in many ways, for instance, helped me achieved better academic results, expanded good circle of international friends from other countries. At INTI, they encourage each student to excel in both academic and extra-curriculum. Therefore, being active in sports is another place where I am able to find my passion as well as expand my circle of friends.

Lecturers in INTI are outstanding, with Ms. Tan Bee Hooi as an example. She is dedicated, patient, friendly, and a humorous lecturer. Ms. Tan possesses vast knowledge in the Biology field and is always happy to share interesting facts during lessons. She has inspired me to keep learning and to one day be able to contribute back to society.

I was the President of INTI Diversity Toastmasters Club Penang. I attended Toastmasters meetings on Tuesdays where I learned useful public speaking skills. I also participated in a Humorous Speech contest at Club Level where I managed to get first placing, and joined Mock United Nations (MUN) organized by Tenby, in which participants discussed real world issues. I experienced some difficulties when attempting questions as it required high-order thinking skills. But thankfully, I was able to overcome them by doing past year questions and seeking help from my lecturers when I couldn’t fully understand. I will be doing a Master of Pharmacy Degree as I have great interest in becoming a Pharmacist, playing my part in the healthcare team to improve medication adherence. I will be furthering my studies at the University of Sunderland, and I am thankful to have met my goals as they weren’t easy to achieve.

Helen Keller is who I look up to. Despite being both blind and deaf, she didn’t let it get in the way of success. She demonstrated passion and a positive attitude towards learning. Helen never gives up whenever faced with hurdles in life, and that’s what inspires me so greatly. The influence of a good teacher can never be erased, and I believe that choosing INTI for your pre-university studies will greatly benefit you, based on the quality of education they have always provided. I also believe that good time management and self-discipline are key factors in achieving success.

Thanks to her, I’m able to do well in my studies. Studying here helped me become more mature, more independent and helped sharpen my soft skills. I also now make new friends easier, thanks to improved communication skills.

I made many fond memories at INTI. For a physics project during my first semester, my friends and I created a water alarm and in my third semester, we participated in the World of Science – Robot Event for Creative Thinking Skills in 2018. We also joined a Scrabble competition held in the college. Individually, I participated in the 4th IMU Science Discovery Challenge 2018 at a national level, and made it onto the Dean’s list during my first and third semester.

My first term biology lecturer, Dr. Ramani, made a huge impact on me. She cared deeply about her students, and her teaching methods enabled me to learn with more ease. She was always ready to help whenever I couldn’t understand a topic and inspired me to be a great lecturer in the future. I thank her immensely. My biggest inspirations in life are success and my parents. My hunger for success motivates me to work hard to achieve the things I want in life, and my parents inspire me with how hard they work to provide for me. They inspire me to always give my best in my studies as there is nothing better than making them proud.

As a student, I experienced time management issues as I loved to procrastinate. I achieved success because of hard work, and never gave up easily because as the saying goes, ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’ Also, I made Google my best friend. Whenever I had difficulties with my assignments, online videos helped. My advice to fellow students would be to know that it’s fine to enjoy yourself in college, but it’s important to work hard as well. Never be shy to ask questions or help from others because if you want something, you have to work for it.
